Some things never change.

We met in 2012 through our High School’s production of the musical Guys and Dolls. Andrew was Nicely Nicely Johnson (donning a fat suit and everything) and Karina was a hot box girl (a glorified stripper). It was love at first sight (not really). Soon after the show we went on an extremely awkward first date in Central Park and proceeded to spend the next 2 years trying to avoid each other. After a couple more awkward encounters and the infamous “promposal” incident, we officially started dating in 2014 and have been together ever since.

We were long distance from 2014 to 2019 while we both finished college - Andrew was at Northwestern studying Electrical Engineering and Karina was at Yale studying Computer Science. Despite the distance, we took every chance we could to see each other. Karina’s friends would often joke that she was always on a plane. In 2019 we moved to Boston where we lived for a few years before relocating to Providence, RI at the start of 2023.

We’re excited to start this new chapter of our lives together and continue going on long walks, eating good food, cooking extravagant meals and exploring new places.
